You might be driving a piece of junk if ...

... it is more rust than rust-colored.

If any of the windows of your car are "temporarily" covered in plastic, tape, or any combination thereof, you're probably driving a piece of junk.

If your car is missing one or more parts that are so significant a person who had never seen a car before would notice, you're probably driving a piece of junk.

If your car is being held together through the liberal use of duct tape, you may be driving a piece of junk.

Your car may be a piece of junk if:

- any part of it is held in place with bungee cords, baling wire, twine, duct tape, masking tape or any kind of tape

- any part of it is missing that would be obvious even to people who had never seen a car before

- it has been folded, spindled or mutilated (bonus points if the wheel scrapes against a bent fender)
